An Easy Option for Families to Receive Quality Virtual Pediatric Medical Care
BIRMINGHAM, AL, March 17, 2020 – Your Kids Urgent Care Vestavia, announces the following measure being put in place in response to the recent developments with the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19). The offering of pediatric medical visits via their virtual telemedicine platform.
The virtual platform, Care On Your Time™ is a technologically robust telemedicine platform that allows parents to receive quality pediatric medical care for their children from home with ease via smartphones, tablets and computers.
Care On Your Time™ offers pediatric patients the ability to receive diagnosis and treatment for non-life-threatening illnesses and diseases. The following conditions are treatable through the Care On Your Time™ platform: Allergies, Conjunctivitis (Pink Eye), Vomiting and Diarrhea, Mild Asthma, Rash & Skin Infections, Swimmer’s Ear and Minor Lacerations.

“All visits are considered an official Medical Record and a copy of the record will be sent to the patient’s primary Pediatric care provider” said Fortune.
The Care On Your Time™ platform will also be utilized to pre-screen children for novel Coronavirus (COVID-19). The symptoms required for pre-screening include: fever, coughing, body aches or if anyone in the household has traveled to China, South Korea, Italy, or Japan within the last 14 days. “We have the COVID-19 test and the provider will give the parent their recommendation if further testing is needed,” Fortune said. “The visit is easily administered with a minimal cost of $45. In addition, all health insurances and Medicaid are accepted.”
Telemedicine platform virtual visits will be serviced during clinic hours, Monday through Friday from 2pm -10pm CST. Weekend hours are Saturday and Sunday 10am – 10pm CST.
